The Auxiliary is actually a part of the Volunteer Fire Company.
We are open to any resident of Kinnelon over the age of 14.
Members are encouraged to participate in whatever capacity you are able.

We support the Fire Company in many ways. For example, we help with "rehab" at major fires by bringing water, coffee, snacks, etc. to the fire personnel so they can stay hydrated and have the energy to work at a scene as long as necessary. 

We also do fundraising to help with the various needs of a Volunteer Fire Company. Training is an on-going effort, and can be quite costly. Equipment also needs to be replaced or updated periodically. Most recently we provided the Fire Company with funds to buy a special projector used in training.
